The anatomy study group is designed both for those studying anatomy for the first time as well as for those interested in refreshing their current understanding of human anatomy. The course objective is to provide you with useful information that you can apply to your own body and yoga or massage practice while keeping it fun!
You will learn about the main muscles and bones of the body and discuss their role in movement as well as their implications for yoga and manual therapies. I will introduce you to some useful palpation exercises, as well as to some cool resources to support and enhance your home study. The intimate setting and extended format encourages and supports open inquiry, group discussions and lots of laughter.
What my Students Have to Say
Nina (yoga teacher):
A very interesting and approachable course. I’ve always found anatomy to be a dull subject, but Julia has sparked my curiousity toward it and now I find it fascinating. Thank you!
Marta (yoga teacher):
I discovered Julia through her blog. Without further information something about her proposal caught my interest: a small group of women who are curious about anatomy. these elements made me click right away. It has been a wonderful experience. Julia is inspiring: she is professional and dedicated. With this course you will learn solid anatomy foundations, will have all your questions answered and you will explore palpation techniques that I found very useful. Now I’m a part of this incredible group of anatomy buffs 😀
